This is the portfolio page of Roland Aigner, Austria-based multimedia researcher, programmer, and artist collaborator.

He uses programming as a tool for sketching and tinkering, producing prototypes and proof-of-concepts. He is mostly dealing with visual and geometric computing and a technological angle to human-computer-interaction. However, his professional interest is diverse and spread all over the area of human encounter with realtime multimedia.

Roland is currently a researcher at the Media Interaction Lab, which is part of the Interactive Media department of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg. Furthermore, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in the computer sciences program at TU Wien.

In the past, he worked as a Key Researcher for the Ars Electronica Futurelab in Linz for 7 years, as well as at Microsoft Research Redmond, and Realtime Technology in Munich, amongst others.
